60s Allstars

The 60s Allstars are very experienced musicians who in their own right deserve recognition for what they have done throughout the years. The band members between them have worked with The Kinks, PJ Proby, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Foundations, Brian Knight’s Blues Band, Marty Wilde and many others. Alan Lovell (the Swinging Blue Jeans) (great voice!), John Dee (The Foundations) and Mick Avory (The Kinks) are regularly joined by Robin Bibi who worked closely with BB King and went on tour with Helen Shapiro. Appearances with the band from time to time are also made by Pete Orr (Voodoo Room, Boney M) and John Clare (The Bruvvers, The Free Electric Band). The sound that they have managed to create is the very authentic sound of the 60s with a modern approach. Rock ’n’ Roll at its very best! At all Barnes Rock events, we have a large dancing area and The Hampton Hub Club is an ideal venue and we have previously staged many events with The 60s Allstars there prior to lockdown. Our regular supporters will all be back and if you’ve not seen The 60s Allstars before, do come and see them on Sunday 25th July. Check out www.barnesrock.co.uk for more information.
